Armed Insurgents Killed in Balkh Operation

Mazar-e-Sharif (BNA) Thirty-eight armed Taliban were killed in a security forces operation in Balkh last night.

Mohammad Hanif Rezaei, spokesman for the 209th Shaheen Corps, told BNA that following the operations of the defense and security forces and popular uprisings and air forces against the Taliban rallies in Salang Chaga area of ​​Shortpa, Khaja Akshan, Bala Hesar and Piazkar districts of Balkh, 38 armed insurgents were killed.

He added that seven Taliban insurgents, including the shadow governor of Taliban for Dolatabad district of Balkh province, were wounded in the operation, and twelve motorcycles, a vehicle some weapons were destroyed.
