Herat (BNA) Offensive attack of Taliban and capturing of Gonabad region, Oba District prevented by security forces.
Armed Taliban in a missive gathering wanted to capture police checkpoints and Gonabad region, Oba District, faced with sever resistance of security forces and inflected heavy casualties to Taliban.
General Aminullah Amarhail police chief of Herat said, 20 armed Taliban were killed and ten others have been injured in the clash.
He also confirmed martyring of two militaries in the conflict.
