5 Dead As Army Helicopter Crashes in Farah

Farah (BNA) Five people lost their lives while a helicopter belonging to Afghan armed forces crashed in western Farah province.
According to reports, the incident took place last night while the helicopter was transporting security personnel.
ANA senior commander said, the helicopter has crashed due technical problem in Ranj region, Khak-e-Safeed District.
He further added that five people including security personnel and the pilot of the helicopter lost their lives in the incident.
He said that investigation is underway regarding the cause of the crash, but Taliban claimed that they had fallen the helicopter in Farah province, the claim that has been strongly rejected by national defense ministry officials.
