CE Meets Swedish Ambassador

Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive, Dr. Abdullah Abdullah met with the Swedish Ambassador to Kabul, Anders Sjoberg with both sides exchanging views on different issues, the BNA reported to the other day.
Both sides exchanged views including recent politico-security changes, Swedish cooperation with Afghanistan and the peace negotiations, according to the agency.
At the meeting, the Swedish ambassador asked for Afghanistan’s support to his country’s UNSC’s periodic membership, with the CE assuring him of full support to process and vowing to instruct Afghanistan’s permanent representative to the UN in this field, the agency said.
Warsaw Conference and the support to the Afghan armed forces have been among the issues discussed between the two sides, with the Swedish ambassador assuring of his country’s and full support to Afghanistan, according to the agency.
The CE called Sweden one of his country’s good partners and asked for the friendly country’s presence and continuation of cooperation with Afghanistan, the agency said.
According to another report the CE, Dr. Abdullah also made a farewell meeting with the Australian outgoing Ambassador, Matthew Anderson and lauded his effort in bolstering further friendly ties between the two countries.
The CE lauded his efforts in Afghanistan, successful, indelible and full of achievements and asked for further presence and continuation of cooperation that country with Afghanistan.
