KABUL (BNA) The country’s Foreign Minister, Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi met with the Russian Ambassador of Dmitry Zhirnov in Kabul on Wednesday.
The two sides discussed political, security, economic and all-around cooperation between Afghanistan and Russia in detail, said the Foreign Ministry in a statement.
Minister Muttaqi, during the meeting, said that Afghanistan is interested in expanding its political and economic ties with Russia.
No longer a security threat in Afghanistan said Muttaqi adding, nor there is any threat from Afghanistan to other countries.
For his part, the Russian ambassador stressed strengthening ties between the two countries and cooperation between government officials.
