Not To Make Pre-Judgment For Election Results: Nurstani

Kabul (BNA) The chairman of independent election commission Ahmad Yousuf Nuristani said yesterday that the observers and representatives of the presidential candidates can monitor the process of tally every day.
Addressing a press conference, he said that the result sheets from Panjshir and Parwan provinces had been arrived completely, while from Logar partially arrived and from Kabul is in the process of collecting. Nuristani called upon the political parties to respect the credibility of the election commission and not to make prejudgment on the runoff result. Nuristani said, “Around 7 million people had used their right of franchise in the second round, but said exact figure will be announced in the next few days. He also said that leveling allegation against head of secretariat of the election commission was due to misunderstanding, adding a fact-finding mission has been constituted.
