Kabul (BNA) Salah Mohammad Mohammadi Afghanistan snooker player became the champion of 29 rounds of Asian competitions held in Pakistan and obtained a gold medal.
The competitions held a week ago with the participated of 32 athletes from 16 Asian countries in Karachi Pakistan ended with championship of Salah Mohammad Mohammadi Afghan player.
Najiburahman Rahmani spokesman of National Olympic Committee said BNA, in this competition Saleh Mohammad Mohammadi and Raise Khan Sanzai our two snooker players were participated and Saleh Mohammad Mohammadi with playing eight games defeat all his rivals obtaining a gold medal recorded Afghanistan as champion of this round of games.
The rivals of Saleh Mohammad Mohammadi were from Mongolia, Pakistan, Iran, Hang-Kang, China and Syria.
It is the first time that Afghanistan won the title of championship in Asia snooker competitions.
