Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani on Friday visited Feroz Koh, the capital of Ghor province to condole with families of the victims of a recent incident, a statement from presidential office said here yesterday.
Upon his arrival to Feroz Koh airport, the president and accompanied delegation were welcomed by the local officials, elders, youth and influential figure the statement said, adding the president later on attended a security meeting with the local security officials and listened to their reports and suggestions. Besides sharing their detailed security reports, Ghor province’s security officials assured the President of their efforts in establishment of a durable peace, adding they would spare no effort to bring security and no terrorist groups will be allowed to disturb the security situation in the province. After hearing the reports of the local officials, the president asked the security organs to further improve coordination and cooperation, instructing the officials to spare no effort in keeping the province free of the insurgents’ activities.
