Kabul (BNA) Janan Musazai the spokesman of the ministry for foreign affairs said that President Hamid Karzai would soon leave for Qatar.
Addressing a press conference here yesterday, he added that the president during his tour to Qatar will exchange views with Qatari officials on bilateral relations, sending Afghan labors to Qatar, peace process sand the modality of opening liaison for Taliban in Doha.
Musazai also noted that Qatar would soon open its embassy to Afghanistan.
He also said that US had agreed to hand over the Bagram prison to Afghanistan.
Musazai also briefed the journalists about the recent visit of foreign minister, Dr. Zalmai Rasoul to Australia and his coming tour to Tajikistan.
