Herat (BNA) Simultaneous with the visit of the minister for higher education Obaidullah Obaid the Faculty for Public Administration was opened in Herat University yesterday.
Minister for higher education along with provincial governor Daud Saba and rector of Herat University, Mir Ghulam Usman Bariz Hussaini inaugurated the Public Administration faculty.
So far three public administrations Faculty have been established in Kabul, Balkh and Herat provinces.
Speaking on the occasion, Professor Sayed Farahad Shahidzada said that presently 402 students are getting knowledge in Herat University and creation of the faculty for Public Administration is vital for presenting educated cadres to society.
Rector of the university Bariz Hussaini also in his speech said with the strengthening peace in the country the need for educated cadre’s increases in the society.
In his speech, governor Saba congratulated the nation, noting presenting educated cadres would have positive impact for the future of the country.
