NUG’s First Cabinet Meeting Held

Kabul (BNA) Under the chairmanship of Chief Executive of National Unity Government (NUG) Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, the first meeting of NUG cabinet was held yesterday.
This meeting of cabinet is held in a time that eight ministers took vote of confidence from parliament and attended at the meeting beside 17 acting ministers. Chief executive, Dr. Abdullah welcomed the presence of ministers at this meeting and asked from ministers and acting ministers to categorize the related ministries’ priorities and set forth in next meeting of cabinet. CE of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan congratulated the election of new ministers to them and invited from the court of Almighty Allah success for them in serving their people.
Chief Executive added that we hope the remaining members of cabinet also be introduced and after taking vote of confidence from people’s deputies to begin their work.
Chief Executive enumerated the working programs of eight session’s council of ministers of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan as follow:
Security report, the report of counter official corruption, report of joint evaluation and supervision of independent committee, report of entrance examination, report of counter disaster management authority, report of retired privileges of The Afghanistan Bank employees, the report of Parwan water dam project as well as the problems of Microrayons’ shops rents. Likewise, minister of interior Noorulhaq Uloomi presented a detailed report to cabinet meeting about security situation of the country and said that in some provinces of the country, security threats were existed in a high level and in majority of provinces, the security situation is satisfactory. Uloomi also reported about the reduction of security threats within recent week and added that as a result of joint efforts of armed forces of the country, the enemies’ attacks are repulsed and national police is making effort to establish order and implement the law.
Uloomi laid emphasize on providing services and helping people in the areas operations are conducting.
