PAROON (BNA) Nuristan local officials on Friday said the administration of the province in cooperation with residents making efforts to stop the ire.
Deputy governor of Nuristan Sheikh Zur Mohammad Haqqani Nuristan province said to BNA that the head of the Nangarhar fire brigade had arrived at the scene with the essential appliance and was working to comprise the fire.
He said they are furthermore contriving with local firefighters.
The fire was torn on since late Friday in the forest of Nurgram district, he added.
