KABUL (BNA) The deputy minister for arts and cultural affairs of the Ministry of Information and Culture Atiqullah Azizi, and some other officials of the Ministries of Culture and National Defense visited Bala Hissar of Kabul, to assess the reconstruction work of this ancient fortress, On Monday.
The officials from the cultural sector of the Aga Khan International Organization, responsible for the reconstruction of the ancient Bala Hissar fort, shared details to the officials of the mentioned ministries regarding the ongoing reconstruction works and asked for cooperation in some cases, in addition to sharing their work challenges.
The deputy minister for Art and Culture affairs of the Ministry of Information and Culture thanked the officials of the cultural sector of Aga Khan International Organization, expressed his satisfaction with the reconstruction work of the mentioned place, and advised them in some cases.
The reconstruction of the Bala Hissar fort of Kabul and the areas destroyed in the past wars has started with the efforts of the Ministry of Information and Culture.
This place will be used for artistic and cultural activities after its reconstruction work is completed, said Azizi.
