Kabul (BNA) At least 31 armed oppositions were killed during joint clearing operations led by Afghan security forces within the last 24 hours across the country.
Ministry of national defense by releasing a statement issued BNA, the operations have launched with support of Afghan air and artillery forces to annihilate anti-government militias and protect the lives and properties of people in insecure areas of Zabul, Urozgan, Daikundi, Nangarhar, Kapisa, Kunar, Badghis, Herat, Farah, Helmand, Paktika, Maidan/Wardak, Ghazni and Faryab provinces.
Some heavy and light weapons ammunitions and military equipment have been discovered and seized during the operations as well, the source added.
