NUG Leaders Condemn Ambulance Car Bomb Attack

Kabul (BNA) Dozens people were martyred and more than 150 others were injured, when a suicide attacker who driving an ambulance packed with explosive materials detonated in Kabul city yesterday.
President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani in a statement condemned the attack which took lives of the innocent people, including women and children. “The enemies should know that they have failed the war against our people and that Afghan security forces have more international supports than ever,” the president was quoted in the statement. The president said Afghanistan was facing an imposed war and that terrorists who are fighting for the interest of certain countries won’t achieve their vicious goals. The president also went on saying that he has time and again said in his speeches at national and international conferences that terrorism has now reached to new phase of global threat and that Afghanistan remained at the frontline of global war on terror which require international supports.
Meanwhile, Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, also condemned that attack, describing it as “insane, inhuman, heinous and a war crime,” via his official Twitter account. He also called on the international community to “take further action” against “state sponsored terrorism.” “Our priority and focus right now is to help those in need and provide the best treatment for those wounded,” he wrote. “This is the moment when we all need to stand together and punch our enemy hear. This is enough.”
The NUG leaders prayed for the souls of martyrs and urgency recovery for those injured in yesterday’s deadly attack.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Information and Culture condemned that attack on civilians, asking people to get united against the enemies who swore to bring disunity among Afghans.
The bombing came a week after the Taliban stormed Intercontinental Hotel in Kabul, which more than 20 people including foreigners were killed.
Taliban took responsibility of yesterday’s deadly attack.
