Kabul (BNA) Hamid Karzai the president of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan emphasized that supporting the peace process didn’t mean that the terrorist activities have been done would be forgotten; they would be accountable for their criminal actions.
BNA analyst writes in that regard:
Hamid Karzai the president of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan speaking on the occasion of the seventh round of the graduation of young officer from academy, reacting to the recent terrorist attacks in the country, particularly terrorist attacks in Kandahar and Samangan provinces clearly said” The criminals who are behind those terrorist attacks, should know that the peace voice we have raised, doesn’t mean that their heinous deeds will be forgotten, they will be response for the killing of PM, elders, religious scholars, father or a child one day.
President Karzai expressing these words, while some influential people and media accused him for too much compromise with armed oppositions regarding to peace and understanding, but the recent statements by the president revealed that the terrorists and murders can not escape from the law and people; they are accountable for their savageries and evil deeds.
The president made it clear that the peace process could not be justified with destructive and terrorist actions, and the terrorists and criminals are responsible for their deeds.
He added, negotiations are continuing with armed oppositions and violence cannot be used as a means of Pressure.
The president’s speech clearly conveyed the message that peace is not in hostage of terrorist activities and those hiding behind terrorist acts, want to prevail over the political atmosphere of the country should know that the people will draw the criminals and murderers to public court and punish them inconformity with the crimes, they were committed earlier.
President Karzai raising the above issues regarding to the peace process and the stand of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan reduced the rate of questions on violence actions.
President Karzai, in his speech also emphasized that the security forces of the country should be absolutely non- political and not affiliated to any political party or group but they should preserve law and provide the ground for implementation of laws and regulations in the community.
Karzai emphasizing on depoliticizing of security organs said that the previous interference of army personnel in politics had unfavorable consequences.
Afghanistan a country which is new experiencing democracy needs to preserve the values of the democracy in the country. Therefore it is required the security forces among them national army, which is improving should be set up in way that defending national values be in the priority of their activities and be away from political disputes.
Without doubt the power and capability of a nation is in its defending capabilities and abilities.
The speech of the president indicates that Afghanistan is working for obtaining such a power and capability.
