Online Commerce Market Created for Women Entrepreneurs: MoCI

KABUL (BNA) Acting Commerce and Industry Minister Nooruddin Azizi, in a meeting with a number of women from the Chamber of Commerce and Industries in the western zone, announced the opening of an “online commerce” market for women entrepreneurs in the country.

A statement received by Bakhtar News Agency from the ministry said that women entrepreneurs during the meeting asked the ministry to support women in the growth of their products and to provide them with a marketplace.

The women also asked the ministry to reduce taxes, organize exhibitions, and allocate land in the country’s industrial parks for women entrepreneurs.

Meanwhile, Minister Azizi, after listening to the suggestions and demands of women, assured them of Islamic Emirate’s firm support and promised to facilitate their business operations.

During the meeting, Azizi announced the opening of an “online commerce” market for women entrepreneurs and said women will be able to run their businesses both in domestic and global markets.

He said that a permanent exhibition will be formed in five zones of the country for women’s products.

Azizi recently traveled to Herat to assess the situation of industrialists and investors in the province.
