Oslo summit: Representatives of IEA Will Meets Afghan political activists

Kabul (BNA) A meeting set in Oslo today between IEA representative and Afghan civil society and political activist in Norwegian European’s country.

Bakhtar news Agency reporter writes, this meeting is scheduled for three days.

A delegation of Islamic Emirate, led by Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi, will meet with representatives of the U.S, Britain and the European Union, in addition to meetings with Afghan political and civil society activists who are said to be independent figures.

“During the visit, he will hold talks with Norwegian officials, EU member states, the United States, representatives of a number of Western countries, as well as some Afghan politicians and other Afghans,” said Amir Khan Muttaqi.

The Norwegian Foreign Ministry said the meeting would last for three days “Sunday to Tuesday”.

“As members of the international community, we can make sure that we can deliver humanitarian aid to the millions of people in Afghanistan who are in a very bad humanitarian situation,” said Mona Jol, Norway’s ambassador to the United Nations.

“Therefore, we held this meeting and invited other countries and organizations to participate in this meeting.”

Eric Christofferson, Chief of Staff of the Norwegian Army, said, I am very happy that we are talking to those in power in Afghanistan.

It’s said that the number of people who came to Norway in the name of political activists and civil activists reaches sixteen.

They also have a plan to solve the problems in Afghanistan, which they will submit to the Islamic Emirate Board.

The Norwegian government emphasizes that the meeting, aimed at finding a solution of the Afghanistan current crisis, will determine the international community’s expectations of human rights, women’s rights and the right to education of women.

The Islamic Emirate states that freedom of speech and human rights will preserve according to laws of the country and said we could find a better solution through interaction with international community.
