“Gains of Govt, People Cannot Be Compared With Other Historical Eras”: Khalili

Kabul (BNA) The members of people’s Shura and the cultural foundation of Imam Ali and association of students of Kohi Berun of second part of Behsud of Maidan-Wardak province met with Mohammad Karim Khalili second vice-president. 
Presidential press office said BNA; they shared their environmental problems with Khalili and hailed the achievements of the government in the past one decade.
According to them the government in the past one decade strived very hard to promote democracy, consolidate unity among the brother tribes, national participation, development and expansion and provision of services in different spheres, especially in education and higher education and attained marked progress.
While expressing satisfaction over the progress achieved, the visitors complained over problems that the people of the areas are faced with respect to education, shortage of schools, hospital and medical centers, non-attention towards agriculture, animal husbandry, irrigation, joblessness, un-employment of the educated cadres at the government departments and non-access of the students of the area to scholarships.
Khalili welcoming them praised the role of the people of the area in the Jehad and resistance of the people of Afghanistan and thanked for supporting the government activities said that the people and the government of Afghanistan in the past ten years have attained marked achievements that cannot be compared with any historical period in the country and emphasized on preservation of the achievements as a principle for the people and the government.
He added that the government has achieved considerable gains especially in building of the highways from the central Afghanistan to the south and from east of the country to the south are in place and these will ensure prosperity of the people in the long run. He called the role of the people towards stability and unity as important and assured them that their problems will be addressed.
According to another report, the elders and influential of Darwesh Ali of second part of Behsud of Maidan/Wardak also had separate meeting with Khalili and they shared their environmental problems with him including building of a clinic in the Rashk area of the district. Expressing satisfaction in meeting the elders of the area Khalili assured them that their problems will be considered. According to another report, Mohammad Karim Khalili also met with head and member of tribal council of Kheder Dara of Turkmen, Sorkh Parsa district of province.
