Nine Taliban Militants Killed

Kabul (BNA) In joint cleanup operations which were launched by Afghan security forces during the past 24 hours, nine armed Taliban killed.
According to Interior ministry press office to BNA, the operation launched in the relevant areas of Kunar, Badakhshan and Nemroz provinces in which 9 armed rebels killed, 17 injured and one arrested.
The operations were launched for cleaning the provinces from the existence of armed Taliban.
In these operations amount of light and heavy weapons were captured and there were no casualties among police forces.
According to another report, Afghan police forces discovered and defused nine different anti-vehicle mines from relevant areas of Helmand, Kandahar, Faryab and Baghlan provinces.
