Over 1,300 Migrants Forcibly Returned to Afghanistan in the Last 24 Hours

KABUL (BNA): In the past 24 hours, 1,322 migrants have been forcibly returned to the country through Spin Boldak border in Kandahar and Torkham in Nangarhar.

Based on information from the Media Office of the Ministry of Refugees, 155 families, comprising 803 individuals, were forcibly returned from Pakistan to the country.

After registering with the Refugee Affairs office, they were referred to the offices of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCRl) and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for assistance.

Additionally, 100 families comprising 522 individuals have returned to the country via Spin Boldak. After registration, they were referred to the offices of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and the World Food Program (WFP).
