Kabul (BNA) Taliban suffered heavy casualties in Balamurghab district, Badghis province, said NDM.
National defense ministry press office told BNA, Afghan security forces with support of air forces launching air and ground raids on strongholds of insurgents, killed 99 Taliban and wounded 35 others.
Numerous of heavy and light weapons of the insurgents have been destroyed.
Taliban sieged the district since one month, they tried several times to enter the center of the district and fall down it, which did not succeeded.
