
KABUL (BNA) The country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that 208 Afghan prisoners have been released from the prison of Pakistan’s Sindh state and returned to Kabul at the expense of the government of Afghanistan.
These prisoners released, based on following efforts of the Afghan Embassy in Islamabad and the Consulate General of the country in Karachi, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement.
This comes as more than 2,000 Afghan prisoners have been freed from various prisons in Pakistan and returned to their home in recent since the establishment of Islamic Emirate in the country.
