Paktia (BNA) In line with presidential decree issued on account of Eidul Adha, eight prisoners were set free from jail in Paktia province, head of prisoners in southeastern zone, General Mohammad Ayub Ahmadzai said.
He also added that the sentence term of several more inmates had been reduced.
Some 270 detainees have been held in Gerdiz prison of Paktia, he added.
