“Govt. Will Obey Any Decision of Loya Jirga (Grand Traditional Assembly) On Security Pact”: President Karzai

Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai once again relied on the will of the people with the US and said that the final decision about the pact will be taken by the people at the Loya Jirga.
Addressing a press conference on Monday while discussing current situation in the country and further details about the talks on security pact with the US, he took note of some points of different in this respect.
He stressed that disagreement about the security pact is not resolved so far.
He pointed out that defining of terrorism, immunity of US soldiers remaining in Afghanistan after 2014 and definition of terrorism and terrorists are points of differences between the two nations.
He added that talks are at delicate stage and ultimately this issue will be referred to the people of Afghanistan at the consultative Loya Jirga to be held within a month.
According to the president, what people of Afghanistan decide, the government will follow it. This remark of the president indicates that he wants to move as per the will of the people in resolving national and political issues, not under the pressures of this or that involved country.
