Indian Companies to Invest Worth $12.5 Mln in Afghanistan

Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive (CE) Dr. Abdullah Abdullah on Sunday met with a number of Indian traders at Sapidar Palace, Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) reported.
After signing agreements with Afghan traders in a meeting held in Mumbai of India and attended by CE Abdullah, Indian traders came to Afghanistan to sign four contracts worth $12.5 mln with Afghan traders in terms of public health, establishing diagnostic clinics and training local cadres, according to the agency. The companies’ representatives thanked CE Abdullah, the government of Afghanistan and US administration for international development that paved the way for trade between the two countries’ traders. Welcoming the Indian traders, CE Abdullah appreciated their step on investment in public health sector in the country.
