Trinkot (BNA) At least 14 armed Taliban were killed in battles with Afghan security forces in Dehrawood and Charchino districts of Urozgan province last night.
A local police commander of Urozgan told BNA, the clashes took place following Taliban’s attack on military convoys in which 14 armed insurgents were killed and dozens of weapons were also seized.
It has been said there were no casualties among security forces.
According to another report, three armed rebels while planting mine wounded.
The rebels wanted to plant a mine on a high way their own mine exploded and injured them.
A witness says, during the explosion a mine planter lost his leg.
