Pakistan Donates Food Aid to People of Afghanistan

Kabul (BNA) Pakistan’s ambassador to Kabul handed over 16 Turck worth of food aid to Afghan people to the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation.BNA, Acting Minister of Refugees and Repatriations Khalil-ur-Rehman Haqqani praised the Government of Pakistan and other donors for their assistance to Afghan people in critical situations, adding that the United States and the international community have helped for 20 years with a corrupt government. There is security and stability all over the country, the people of Afghanistan must help and cooperate.

Pakistani Ambassador to Kabul Mansour Ahmad Khan also said that Afghanistan and Pakistan are two neighboring countries with a common religion and culture, and that Pakistan will never leave Afghans alone and, in addition to humanitarian aid, will continue to cooperate in other areas.

He assured that the gates of Torkham, Vish and other ports would be reopened, adding that all the gates would be opened soon to Afghans who had the required documents and would allow patients who did not have the documents to pass as needed.
