President Karzai Submits His Gifts To National Museum

Kabul (BNA) In series of gifts submission of Hamid Karzai, president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to relevant government institution, 14 pieces of gifts were yesterday submitted to national museum.
The gifts including 10 swords, 4 pistols, a hand-written Holy Quran, a golden watch and a handkerchief were submitted yesterday by Shuja Mohammad Amal, human resources director for presidential palace to head of national museum Umara Khan Masoudi.
BNA correspondent reported, it has been several times so far that president of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan has submitted his gifts given to him by leaders of the world countries and Afghan local influenced figures to relevant government institutions.
In a ceremony held on this occasion, human resources director for presidential palace submitted document of the gifts to head of national museum known as the only responsible for preservation of historic relics and cultural heritages of the country.
Representing ministry of information and culture, head of national museum asserted that he would preserve the relics as other ones existed at the museum, praising also the president for his trust related to submission of the relics to the museum.
