Kabul (BNA) Acting minister of information and culture Prof. Mohammad Rasoul Bawari discussed implementation of youth national policy with UN Trust Fund representatives here in his office yesterday, Bakhtar News Agency (BNA) reported.
Noor Mohammad Murad youth in charge of the UN Trust Fund briefed acting minister on youth national policy which was jointly developed by the deputy ministry of youth affairs and UN, adding the program was aimed to support Afghan youth. He said was looking forward to take joint steps with Afghan government in implementation of the policy.
Meanwhile Walwala Enayat Turki senior officer of plan and policy for the UN Trust Fund in deputy ministry of youth affairs said the policy was among the 12 small and big projects for the Afghan youth in the areas of education, employment, health and other joint issues, BNA added.
He said the program would be financed by UN and other agencies whenever the Afghan government approve the policy.
Acting minister of information and culture thanked UN Trust Fund for their support of Youth National Policy, asking them to provide further information on the aspect so that to be presented to high ranking government officials for the approval, BNA concluded.
