Pak’s Former PM Warns of Economic Bankruptcy, Pakistan Nuclear Disarmament

KABUL (BNA) Imran Khan says on Thursday Pakistan is heading for economic bankruptcy and loss of nuclear power.

Pakistan’s economic bankruptcy is threatened if the right decision-making organizations do not make the right decisions, quoted Pakistani media as saying in an interview with Imrana Khan

The former Pakistani Prime Minister, who opposes the current government, while underscoring the need for early elections, called on the army to play a role against what he called the government-imposed foreign intervention. Then comes Pakistan’s nuclear disarmament conspiracy.

Imran Khan, without mentioning who he is pressuring, said: “Indian agents abroad are assuming the disintegration of Balochistan, they have plans, that is why I am pressuring.”

“His power as prime minister was limited and the main decision and authority was taken from elsewhere, and everyone knows where the power is in Pakistan and we had to,” said the ousted Pakistani prime minister, without mentioning any specific position or institution inside the country.

He said, however, that having a “strong army” is essential for Pakistan to fight foreign threats, but that a “balance” must be struck between having a strong army and a strong government.

The former Prime Minister of Pakistan rejected any possibility of returning to parliament and withdrawing his deputies from the mass resignation, calling it a conspiracy.
