Kabul (BNA) President Hamid Karzai accepted the credentials of new Danish ambassador to Afghanistan in presence of Ershad Ahmad deputy minister for political affairs of Foreign Ministry in a special ceremony held at the presidential palace yesterday.
Following the ceremony President Karzai discussed with the new Danish ambassador bilateral relations.
Henrik Bramsen Hahn the new Danish ambassador conveyed good sentiments of Margaret-II the Danish Queen to President Karzai as well.
At the meeting President Karzai wished the ambassador success and thanked the Danish government for its assistance to Afghanistan in the past one decade.
The Danish ambassador assured President Karzai on his government’s long-term cooperation within the strategic agreement between the two nations.
He stressed that during his mission in Afghanistan, he will try to further consolidate relations between the two nations.
