Qalat (BNA) Fourteen passengers were killed and at least 30 others were injured in a landmine explosion in Zabul.
The passengers were riding in a bus crossing the Kabul-Kandahar highway when they were targeted.
According to reports, a mine was planted on the side of the road in Shahr-e-Safa district and exploded while the bus carrying passengers from a distance.
Zabul security source told BNA that fourteen passengers were killed and at least 30 others were injured in the blast.
The injured were taken to Zabul Central Hospital for treatment and doctors said some of them were in critical condition.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the blast.
