Maimana (BNA) Eight armed Taliban including a commander of them were killed in an operation conducted by security troop in Faryab province.
Syeed Masood Yaqoobi press in charge of Faryab security command told BNA, eight armed insurgents including Mullah Halim a commander of them were killed and seven others wounded in an operation carried out since two days in some regions of Qaisar district, Faryab province.
It is said that, seven Taliban militants were also killed and wounded and two villages were cleared from existence of insurgents last week.
