General Wardak Meets US Chief Of Staffs

Kabul (BNA) General Abdul Rahim Wardak Minister of National Defense met with the US chairman of chiefs of staff general Demsi and discussed security issues, development of the national army and transition of security responsibilities during the second phase. 
General Wardak called development and leading the combat training and military operations of the national army as very positive and appreciated the cooperation of the US in training of the  national army, and said that equipping of the national army with standards arms is positive in taking of measures for struggling against the enemies and independent defense of the country from the national sovereignty, social and economic values in accord with rich culture of our homeland, undertaking of the security responsibility and creation of necessary opportunities for gaining of experience of the national army  is very positive. 
Both sides called ensuring of security through strengthening of the Afghan security forces, its training and equipping to enable them carry independent security operations. 
The US general assured of continued US cooperation in training, equipping and further development of national army, to enable them led its combat operations independently against the enemies of Afghanistan. 
According to other report based on the report of the assigned commission on the 18th of Dalwa 130 prisoners and on the 16th of the month 100 prisoners were transferred from the Parwan province to Puli Charkhi prison accordingly. 
In order to realize the instructions of president Karzai the process of transfer of prisoners are being continued.
