Kabul (BNA) Taking into account the recent fighting between the Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) and armed insurgents, some experts said that the armed insurgents would once again exercise their strength in upcoming spring and create headache to Afghan security forces. But the ANSF once again talk on cordon and search operations and said that they would intensify their operations against insurgents to minimize their capabilities for the next spring. ANSF emphasize that recent Operation Shafaq-2 and other separate military operations for elimination of insurgents have proven effective and inflicted heavy damages to terrorists.
Similarly, during his visit to Helmand province, CE Dr. Abdullah Abdullah has also called ANSF to make coordinated efforts and operations and suppress terrorists in Helmand districts. He emphasized that existence of coordination in the battlefields leads ANSF to victories.
Concerns have been recently increased on deteriorating security situation and even local government authorities of some provinces claim that if the leading bodies of the NUG don’t pay serious attention to improvement of security situation of the troubled provinces, they may collapse.
The provincial authorities of Trinkot, provincial capital of Uruzgan province as well as a number of districts are under besiege of terrorists and serious attention of the central government is required. Rejecting these claims, the ANSF say that heavy casualties have been inflicted to terrorists particularly in Uruzgan and they are making efforts to eliminate armed terrorists. We want to have a deeper focus on this question that why in current winter comparing previous years, war with insurgents didn’t decrease but further intensified! Although the ANSF are making hue and cry of defending every span of Afghanistan and say that would not allow enemies of homeland to establish sanctuaries or centers in this soil. But armed insurgents have support of regional countries, including Pakistan as now Iran and Russia have also started supporting terrorists. It has been said that a plan has been prepared and given by I.S.I to insurgents to continue war this year and don’t let the NUG to prove to the world people that armed insurgents are trained by Pakistan. ANSF have proven effective in counter-terror operations but this incapability in air forces, has faced them with obstacles. During need of air strikes, the ANSF request for coalition forces air backup. But sometimes, the air support is available that insurgents might have been able to escape already. The world community should focus serious attention to ANSF air forces improvement until the armed insurgents fail to hide in caves of mountains.
Requesting help from the central government, the inhabitants of Farah, Helmand and Uruzgan provinces said that with increasing air strikes, the insurgents flee and fail to create problem to them. If the ANSF Air Forces are improved, they would have this capability to suppress armed insurgents and don’t let them to make headache to Afghans. Talks are made on serious fight against insurgents at a time that the NUG has time and again called on insurgents that its bosom is open for peace and every armed rebel group can be involved in peace talks with the government in the light of the constitution. War is not a solution. So the armed terrorists should put an immediate end to war and should not threaten the innocent Afghans to death on aliens’ provocations. Pakistan has recently setup a Gallows in one side and war against Afghanistan on the other side. Government of Pakistan jails those insurgents who are fed up with war on different reasons or take them away from the battlefields. The armed terrorists should realize that Pakistan never wants Afghans to live in peaceful and secure atmosphere. For this reason, Pakistan has brought changes in the rows of insurgents.
