Herat (BNA) In several separate incidents, Herat police arrested seven men suspected of criminal offenses in that province yesterday with weapons.
Abdul Ahad Walizada spokesman of Herat security directorate told BNA, Officials at the commandment arrested the men on suspicion of carrying and possessing illegal weapons and smuggling and selling drugs from Guzara district and Herat city.
He added that a pistol, more than seven kilograms of hashish, a quantity of opium, ten liters of alcohol, 30 liters of fermented raisins, a hand grenade and equipment used to make alcohol were seized from the detainees.
