Kabul (BNA) According to western sources, the US senate Armed Services Commission has approved the US government recommendation on new financial aid to Islamabad that includes US$ 800m which will be paid from the budget of Afghan war.
The US is talking on payment of $800m package in war on terror and stability of Pakistan at a time that Taliban leader Mullah Mansoor was targeted by the US drones with the direct order of president Obama recently. Reports says that prior to this the US had suspended sale of eight F-16 fighters to Pakistan due to its failure in war on terror. This suspension was indicator of tension between the two countries. But a number of political analysts in Kabul and Islamabad consider relations between Islamabad-Washington improving following the elimination of Mullah Mansoor, while a number of Pakistani authorities strongly criticize targeting of Mullah Mansoor inside Pakistan territory. But senator Donator Becker a US congressman said that Pakistan is a reliable partner of terrorists.
It could be a sign of mistrust between the two countries. Therefore, the Afghan people request the American politicians that as they talk on realities in Pakistan they should try to adopt similar position with the Pakistan military and intelligence authorities. If politicians talk on suspension of sale of F-16 fighters to Pakistan but military officials offer a package of $800m from the budget of Afghan war to Pakistan. While our military, security forces based on their commitment and feeling before their motherland proven after undertaking security responsibilities that are capable to ensure security of their country and have always been appreciated by the world authorities in international meetings. Today, this is evident to everybody that ANSF representing the world peace loving people give victim in the frontline of war on terror. Therefore it would have been better that the US who is Afghanistan ally ad strategic partner taking into account emerge and increasing expansion of multinational terrorists in Afghanistan focus attention in the direction of equipping and funding of ANSF with modern heavy weapons, fighters instead of $800 package to Pakistan.
