LASHKARGAH CITY (BNA) As many as 14 armed oppositions including three Pakistani nationals were killed following air attack in southern Helmand province last night.
Based on reports, the militants have been targeted, while they were busy on organizing a series of terrorist and destructive activities in Sangeen district of the province.
Senior commander of Afghan national army in the south of the country told BNA correspondent, 14 anti-government militias were killed and a hideout belonged to them along with all military equipment have been destroyed during the air assault.
According to another report, Afghan security forces by discovering and defusing 10 round of different type of mines succeeded to prevent several bloodiest incidents in crowded areas of Helmand province.
No one was arrested accused of foiled mine plantings.
