Kabul (BNA) 26 armed insurgents were killed in several clearing operations conducted by security forces in some provinces of the country.
National defense ministry press office told BNA, the operations conducting in insecure regions of Shindand district, Herat province, Balabalok district, Farah province, Daimardad district and Maidan-Wardak aimed to clear insecure regions from presence of armed insurgents, killed 26 insurgents and wounded 30 others.
Likewise, numerous of weapons and military equipment were seized in the operations.
According to another report, four armed militants were killed and number of others wounded along with military equipment in ANA forces operation in outskirts of Nerkh district, Maidan-Wardak province.
