Kabul (BNA) At least 44 insurgents were killed, 28 wounded during clearing operations led by Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) across the country.
Ministry of National Defense press office stated BNA, the operations were launched in insecure areas of Kunar, Paktika, Paktia, Ghazni, Kandahar, Urozgan, Zabul, Herat, Balkh, Jawzjan, Faryab, Badakhshan, Sar-e-Pul, Kunduz and Helmand provinces.
The operations were conducted by Afghan National Army and Afghan National Police with support of Afghan artillery forces in the provinces.
