Pharmaceutical Production Company Opens in Kandahar by Investing $50m

KANDAHAR (BNA) Local health officials in Kandahar say that a pharmaceutical company invested $50 million for medicine production in the province.

Mohammad Sayed Seddiq, head of Sonu Pharma Company told Bakhtar News Agency that the company was newly opened in Kandahar and they would start production in the near future.

He said that the company would also help to create jobs for 800 people while over 2,000 other people would be engaged in the business indirectly.

The company will work 8 hours a day and will produce approximately 2 million tablets, a million capsules, and 100,000 bottles of syrup with high quality.
