Sar-e-Pul (BNA) Five Taliban insurgents were killed in Sayad district, Sar-e-Pul province.
Zabiullah Amani spokesman for Sar-e-Pul governor said BNA, the Taliban have been killed while they stormed on police checkpoints in Arab region, Sayad district.
The source added, three other Taliban have been wounded in the conflict.
During the conflict a policeman has been injured and numerous of heavy and light weapons of the Taliban were seized by police forces.
