Kabul (BNA) Chief Executive Dr. Abdullah Abdullah in a meeting with Iranian special envoy for Afghanistan Mohammad Ibrahim Tahiryan praised Iran for cooperation with Afghanistan.
In the meeting, the country’s chief executive briefed related to current situation of Afghanistan, peace effort, presidential elections and the country’s official stance in this regard.
Assuring of Iranian government’s continued cooperation with Afghanistan, Tahiryan stressed that his country was supporting Afghanistan peace ongoing negotiations led and owned by Afghans and holding a transparent presidential elections in the country.
