Kabul (BNA) Spokesman for the ministry of foreign affairs, Ahmad Shukib Mustaghni has warned of dire consequences if artillery shelling of Pakistani military goes unchecked. Addressing a press conference here the other day, Mustaghni said, if Pakistan does not stop artillery shelling on the border areas and if the diplomacy fails to solve the problem, other options including economic, political and at last the military option is on desk.
According to Mustaghni, based on the presidential decree, the national army personnel is on alert. However, he noted that the government of Afghanistan would do its best to find amicable solution through diplomatic channel.
