President Ghani Condemns IS Bombing In Pakistan

Kabul (BNA) President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani has condemned the deadly attack on a shrine in southern Pakistan that killed 75 people the other day, his office said in a statement.
President Ghani says his security forces are battling all terrorist groups, including the Islamic State, which claimed responsibility for the attack at the Sufi shrine in the town of Sehwan in Sindh province, the statement further said. The shrine honored the mystic Muslim Sufi holy figure Usman Marwandi, also known as Lal Shahbaz Qalander, according to the statement. The militant groups always seek to “Target civilians in Afghanistan and other parts of the world”, according to the statement. The president said that Sufis always preached peace and brotherhood among people, adding the terrorists once again proved that they have no respect to Islamic values, the statement concluded.
