Neli (BNA) Around 12 o'clock last night, Taliban militants attacked on security checkpoints of Sarmeh Sang in Nawa Mish district of Daikundi.
Daikundi police spokesman Gol Aqa Sajjadi said the Taliban attack faced with a sharp response from the military and they were defeated.
He said the attack lasted until 3 a.m., in which four local policemen were wounded.
According to Daikundi police spokesman, the Taliban were killed in the clashes, but the exact number is unknown.
Taliban have not yet commented in this regard.
