Paroon (BNA) nine armed Taliban rebels were killed during conflicts by security forces in Nooristan province this morning.
The insurgents were targeted by security forces in Barg-e-Matal and Kamdish districts
The conflicts took place while a group of militants stormed on a convoy of security forces.
A border police commander in the east of the country said BNA,
in the battles, nine armed militants lost their lives.
It is mentionable that, no harm and losses sustained to security forces and residents in the clashes.
According to another report, the security forces discovered two weapons caches of Taliban in Nooristan province.
The caches were discovered in recent 24 hours in a series of operations from different parts of Barg-e-Mastal district and suburb of Paroon city.
Security officials of Nooristan said dozens of light and heavy weapons were seized from the caches.
