Qalat (BNA) Dozens of Taliban insurgents were killed in Afghan Security Forces Raids in Zabul and Urozgan provinces.
The Taliban were targeted by air and ground raids in parts of Dehrawod and Charcheno Districts of Urozgan and Arghandab and Shahjou Districts of Zabul province.
ANA senior commander in Atal army corps told BNA, 51 Taliban insurgents were killed and several others have been injured.
According to reports, 16 Pakistani insurgents were also among the dead.
Four strongholds of the Taliban with all war equipment have been destroyed.
Military officials in south of the country said the attack have diminished the Taliban’s fighting ability and most of the Taliban group have fled Pakistan for fear.
