Twenty-Five Taliban Militants Killed in Badghis Raid

Qala-e-Naw (BNA) Twenty-five Taliban militants were killed in air strike of Afghan troops on their strongholds in Badghis province last night.
Sharifullah Chamto police commander of Badghis told BNA, the raid carried out in Baghak region, Qala-e-Naw, of Badghis province on Taliban strongholds, in which 25 armed militants were killed and their stronghold and weapons were destroyed.
Another report says, attack of Taliban on police checkpoints in Moqor District, Badghis province repulsed by security forces.
Mohammad Naser Nazari member of Badghis provincial council said, Taliban were forced to withdraw with casualties.
In the clashes, three policemen were also martyred.
